Prince Caspian: Lucy meets Aslan 77,267 views

Patagonia is marked with a change of terrain every half hour or so. The 40km hike took me from mountains to plains to rivers to forests to swamps the to rolling hills. All of these would be re-combined into interesting formations that kept my camera full and my backup system whirring away. I'm glad the 20 pound battery of the D3X lasts about 6 months (exaggeration... but not by much)!

This was a particularly dense area of forest that was fed by a nearby stream system that came tumbling down off the Andes. I came across this old bridge. There is no telling how long it had been there... I tried to imagine it was built by Fuegian Indians back in the day...

And yes, I just had to put in some footage from Prince Caspian. The quality is considerably lower for those shots, but I don't think anything else would have worked quite the way those shots did. *blush*

no way not here...i woke up this morning to the news...was very sad to hear about it? made me sad in the morning...but then reading my afternoon mag...made silly stories again...because no one wants to be in a bad mood all the time from hearing the news...but the news is still there...and i will admit i was sad this morning from hearing it, it makes me cry because i really don't understand why innocence is taken away and the evil still stays...so i will fight it....unfortunately all these thoughts are separate and then when they come down on paper, it seems they all belong to eachother...but no...they don't...i think my teacher's friend put it well in his story and it's all hard to cope with on one page...i actually read it at the time it came out...@AndrewMayne

and at church they said the same thing over the weekend...it's a good story...2 of my little angels were confirmed...they mentioned at the ceremony..."your lifestyle is a fast paced world, with all this facebook and youtube and google and you're going down many roads...but you are now shielded in your confirmation and that is what you should fall back to" anyways that's what they said at confirmation...and it's a good story because my 2 angels were saved...and we pray for their mommy everyday, she's still stuck in TIH. but we pray for her everyday or think about her...emotion came over me at the confirmation because i remembered what mommy said, i use to play with their mommy and one day when we were walking late at night and by a cemetary she said to me, "do you smell that?" i said, "no what is it" "it smells like roses..." she also said i think someone is following us? but i didn't think so...did she have a sixth sense that night? i don't know...and another time totally a different day...she's another one who told me a story about the dwendes...she said to me, "do you believe in dwarfs?" i said, "no" she said, "they're there in the blades of grass, be careful not to step in them" i just thought about it...this was years ago, as i was sitting there watching my little angels being confirmed i was thankful he saved these two and then the tears came flooding down, they're very dear to me...so if he saved these two he can save more...in the card i wrote to them and i believe they understand that they were brought up in this world for a reason and that's to preach the good word...so i hope they don't fall back either...i don't think they will they're very strong in spirit...

which reminds me...May 7th is National Prayer Day...i think i remember this...(everyday i have to remind myself is prayer day for i don't know what tomorrow will bring)

...which brings me to this bridge...this was not a good day for me either...i remember it all too vividly...but the next day for some reason made up for it? i don't know why...

...and at the time when this foto was done...i wanted to say, "here let me help you fix it...it's really easy, you just need to find some more driftwood and i have some rope! and if we have to we'll ask nicely our Fuegian friends to borrow their tools and they will help us fix this bridge also..."
