These are the kinds of places that are too cool to be true. I think these are called "banyan trees" (no doubt one of my smart readers will correct me if I'm wrong!), and their seeds fell centuries ago on top of these old tombs. Although not part of the main complex, the temple of Ta Prohm is still considered part of Angkor Wat. It's a distance away, but, in many ways, cooler than the main temple.
Maybe I was lucky, the the days I spent there hardly had any tourists around. There were a few monks, but most of them were not Cambiodian and had traveled there from other monasteries all over the world.
Probably the coolest thing about the place was the ability to go anywhere and do anything. No little chamber, passageway, doorway, or underground mystery was off limits. It was definitely one of the best places for spontaneous adventure that I have ever been.

i just found out it was ms. janet jackson's bday hbd :)
yesterday before the movie started...this man was yelling...i stared right at him...looked him right in the eye...wondering when he was going to stop...
this was taken at iona beach, this beautiful creature came in my view...i was only shooting the sun when this husky mix came by...i'm not sure what kind of dog it is...but it was perfect...more on that story later, it only lasted about 10 seconds...i was just sitting down on a log enjoying the afternoon, in the distance you can see the walkway there, ppl run and ppl walking all the time

we were heading up the escalators and then we separated...my greek friend went to go see what time the restaurant closed (btw i was able to take pix there! more on that later, was awesome :)
...i trailed behind because this man started yelling at the cleaner, the cleaner was filipino...i couldn't stop staring at him while he ranted, i stood right beside the cleaner...who was minding his own bizness and he looked down the whole time picking up garbage from off the ground with his sweeper
...i was staring at the man yelling...he had a heavy accent, european...older...at least 60 yrs. of age...the words that were coming out of his mouth were, "look at this! atroscities! these ppl, you ppl, and the GIRL...!!!" he was looking at me...but i don't think he was talking about me? i don't know, it was all broken up, heavy accent and i don't remember all the words it happened so fast...it only lasted a minute or two...i didn't understand what happened or what happened before we even got top of the escalators between whatever angered him
...i was just confused he was yelling at him or was it now him and me since i showed up at the top and decided to stop and stare...i guess i was the only one paying attention to his babbling...everyone else just walked away or minded their own, only stared and walked away...but i stopped in front of him (he was 6 paces away) wondering, "huh? does he want to fight?" he want's to fight natalie portman!? hehe i just had to throw that in there...i just got the idea :) lol...silly...isn't it?
...he made such a commotion...and i was kind of upset he'd be yelling at all...that he was yelling? stupid...and strange...i wanted to ask him what was wrong but instead i kept silent, stared at him instead and then my gf was 20 paces away who finally caught attention
...yelling at me / towards me! "what the hell did you do to him?" i was like ( i yelled back to her from across...), "i didn't do anything! he started yelling first!?!?" and a i hurried up to meet back with her, i was upset she bursted at me...but she always does that lol...i think it comes from being vocal and very expressive, throw in sarcastic too (very sarcastic, more than me)...anyways that man disturbed me...i couldn't enjoy the movie commercials...i did after a bit...what's new coming out i can't wait to see...terminator...john travolta and denzel washington's new movie...but in the end the WOLVERINE made up for it! i love WOLVERINE...nite nite everyone xoxo
