new note later on in the morning 9.53AM est waiting for the sun to set is the most beautiful thing to do for us...i really don't know what i'd do without it...the day i don't see the sun setting...i couldn't even imagine...when i'm not by the water or watching the sun go down, i feel empty or sad inside knowing i missed something really special, you should all try it and make an effort at least once a week, if i could i would do it everyday but i need to make more effort out here...i left a pix here for anyone to have, i use to not do this but learning from others, who cares, if someone likes it, that's cool then i think...this is the diving capital of the canada, here in tobermory, you're looking at the sun setting in lake huron which joins all the way down and around down to the south...we love coming here to relax and get away...it's very quiet here not a big town at all but very nice still to see all the nature and surrounding here...part of Georgian Bay....below i will show you a foto of inside the Grotto! i hope you like it, i enjoyed sharing with you all have a wonderful day everyone 9.57AM est end note...........................................................................................

The Morning Steam Through the Forest in Yelowstone
I woke up just before 5 AM today so I could get out there and do some sunrise shooting. It was a great morning and I found all kinds of interesting spots. I drove by a bank of trees that had some steam from a nearby river flowing through them... and it looked so cool that I hiked around the forest to find a nice configuration of trees and steamy fog.so happy got to see The Hip at the Pemberton Concert was uplifting, the whole concert was and the experience, everyone you must see The Tragically Hip in concert, you won't regret it :)

I was exhausted after shooting most of the day. I drove over the the Firehole River to have a swim. There was no one else around, and I didn't have a swimsuit, so I just went in my undies. This seemed like a great idea until my underwear ripped on a rock. This, combined with very sensitive feet that make me look crazy when walking on a rocky shore, made for quite a scene.

Ok the exhibition is up and ready to launch on Friday evening! There are 16 large edition images in total. Most have been mounted on aluminium, but 3 have been given special individualised framing treatment! All was done at Spectrum, who have sponsored the show.
There will be one BIG image mounted on aluminium behind perspex which looks rather impressive at 83 x 125cm!
There will also be some smaller prints.
To see all the images you will have to come along! Or I will be posting images of the show here on my blog in due course.

These past few weeks have been hectic. Amidst the exhibition planning I have also done a two-day styled photoshoot for a client who wanted themed and fantastical portraits of herself. I shot with a Phase One P40+, plus three different lenses (way more variety than I’m used to!!) which has resulted in hundreds of big, beautiful images to now sort out for processing - almost too many to choose from, so lots more work, gah! ;))
After this exhibition launch I am certain I will collapse and be due for a much-needed break… I may even drink more than the usual three sips of alcohol, to offer myself the kind of reprieve everyone else seems to get from the stuff.
Free drinks will be available, plus my book. Signed if you want…
