at humber bay this is the most beautiful family i have ever seen, they were out for a swim, i've seen them before while they were at their nest but too far away...i couldn't believe they had a family with them, when i saw them swimming again, first family i ever caught on camera, i love these shots of mom dad with their four babies :)
we decided to go to lost lagoon instead of by the ocean, was a very good shoot today, saw my friends after so long, this one especially, she kept swimming back and forth lovingly posing for the camera, when she swam you could hear the water create a little bit of waves because she was doing some wierd movement, i can't explain but you can see how she's swimming...like she was loving me so much...it was so nice...this is the last time i have seen her...i miss her...i can't wait to see her again...

~ also saw a coyote hanging out by the front of the swampy area on the north east corner, playing with it's catch of the day ~ like a cat playing with a mouse ~ very weird because i've never seen that before, he tossed up it's toy, a vol, in the air and then caught it with it's mouth and then flung it back up in the air again it lasted about 5-10 minutes ~ the racoons walk right by you hoping that you have food for them..
oh yah see my raccoon...he was hungry too....he's praying for food...see?....feed my babies...so yah....he was so sweet and gentle and so friendly and loving....just look at him...we were feeding him "french fries"...i just loved this shoot, maybe if you see him...you can say hi for me... :) ....he has a scar on his ear...i wonder if he survived winter? i hope i see him one day too...

i saw these two swans from far away, this family was being fed by this nice man with his daughter....when i came around the corner.. and when i got to them they had just finished feeding them bread...and they were leaving...and they told me oh you're just in time, we lured them in with some bread, i wanted to thank them, but i didn't even look at them, i said, "thank you" with my eyes fixated on the swans, i was so excited, it's the first time i ever found a family before...look at those beautiful babies...they were so adorable...<3>

what a beautiful day it was today...i went to a beautiful festival, where the drum beats....love this music...was good to dance again for a little...for a few...i have so many fotos...all different kinds....on the way home we saw a live action purse snatching in pursuit....the man and woman yelled down the street chasing the purse snatcher...and they were hollering at him...he was running so fast! he picked the wrong day...because everyone was out and aboot....and then the citizen bikers got involved and goodness prevailed again...the bikers chased him down and unfortunately we were heading east and they were going west i didn't see what happened...
but...i know they probably gave him a kick down since they caught up to him with their bikes and then 5 minutes after i heard the cop cars coming...down the street headed west ...so i knew they caught him...thanks to all the police officers that risk their lives everyday too....i couldn't believe when they were running after him....terrible...luckily others started chasing after him too....scarey....i hope they got him....

I arrived in Houston to meet with a friend a bit early. I planned on spending the morning in the museums, but they don't open until noon on Sunday. So I decided to head to nearby Hermann Park to the famous rose garden there.
As an experiment, I put on my Nikon 14-24mm 2.8 lens to try some new things out... It's not my usual stuff, but I'm happy with the results.

all the world is a stage and everyone has their part, but how was i to know which way the story'd go...i had a blog before which had a lot of good fotos & videos but fell victim under the pale moonlight...it's bittersweet because you would've seen the whole story come together but that's ok, i have a very good memory so we'll just call this déjà vu...now i start over...i'll dust it off and try again, don't know how long it will last this time...maybe for just one more night with another songbird.
