Here at the Hotel Spidari in central Milan, there is a tiny Italian woman down stairs that asks no questions and makes cappucinos all day. I've been eating breakfasts down there while reading my book... every time I look up, she is standing there like a ghostly madonna, holding a new cappucino with a bowl of unpronouncable sweetener products. Yesterday morning, after the game, I did not know what to say to her, so I said, "Viva Forza Italia," to which she returned a grim expression and presented a fresh cappucino.

when i see madonna sitting there...singing...i see or maybe feel her artists soul too...she is amazing...i love madonna...don't you? if you don't that's ok too...not everyone likes madonna because she is very vocal and outspoken and she says whatever she likes...for some reason i like that.....and the catholic church didn't like....but she was i think trying to make a point.....i wonder if i get the picture yet? end note 6.10.09

Oh dearie, I didn't mean to create a religious pic. It isn't, really. I'm just developing my technique of placing myself in locations using Photoshop rather than reality. We visited a church in Knaresborough and I wisely snapped some panaromic RAWs to place my shrouded self in later. It continues the light/dark theme I have been indulging in recently.
There's still something I'm not satisfied with about the pic but I have spent so much time adjusting things, and have done so much with it, I thought it's time to share!
Looks more exciting on black!
