about the lady at tim horton's, i was lining up for my steep tea it was a big line up and the lady in front of me seemed to be a regular, i could tell from the server dealing with her, it looked like they've dealt with her before or whatever and they were tired of helping her...and just wanted to get on with the next...because maybe she's abrupt or mean or just not their type to deal with...maybe she gives them a hard time and is picky with her coffee requests, i'm not sure, but that happens with customer service sometimes, they had asked her...are you finished? in a nice way to be polite but knowing she might ask for something more...and she said, "yes i'm finished thanks"

....after she was finally done i walked up next in line and asked for my drink...then i heard her hush under her breath over to me, she was to my left, she said, "can i have $5 dollars...please" she thought i was going to say no i bet...but i said without hesitation, "ok...." and then i didn't even notice but i saw her hands...she held her coffee with the palms of her hands, she had no fingers, i couldn't believe it...and she was asking me for money...after waiting a few more for my drink i asked her can i take your picture? she said, "after you give me the money" i was like, "oh don't worry, of course i'm going to, i would never do that..." she smiled inside for a quick second

the girl behind the tim horton's counter was looking at me, looking at her...and wondering...what's going on here? or strange? why are they talking to eachother...? and i think they knew i was talking to her and going to give her money but everyone around me wasn't sure...anyways as the cashier was breaking my twenty...she was giving me a ten dollar bill and change, while that was happening this woman decided to come around to my right...and stuck out her hand in front of me....the cashier was still bewildered and so were the people behind me in line...so i asked the cashier, "uhm can you please break my ten in to two fives...please..." she did...everyone felt uncomfortable for me but i didn't...and as the money was coming towards me, the lady stuck out her hand as if i need the money, give it to me kind of feeling...and i handed it over to her all the while in front of everyone around us who thought i was probably crazy for dealing with this lady they probably see everyday...

hmmm i wonder...is it because i gave her $5 dollars out of the blue, i didn't mind, it felt good to do so...so after i gave her the money...her energy eased and she said, "ok, you can take my picture" in her deep accent...we proceeded outside the door but she had to stop and put her money away so we stopped in front of the door, she put her coffee down and put the money in her pocket then we went outside...and she said, "ok where do you want me to stand? i'll stand here..." i was like "ok, what happened to your hands" "a dog bit me" "a dog bit you?" "ya a dog bit me" "what kind of dog??" "i don't know, i don't remember" "when did it happen?" she remembered vividly and clearly she answered right away "it happened in 1992" i couldn't say anything but she probably just saw the concern i had on my face feeling sorry that it happened to her "so..............what's your name?" "constance" "ok?" she said...she didn't feel much like talking anymore after that...we smiled at eachother i made her laugh just a little...and she said, "when am i going to see you again?" i didn't give her an answer and just looked down away thinking to myself i wasn't sure if i'd ever see her again...the only last thing i asked her is what country she was from...she said "nigeria" she told me i just live over there...pointing to the east...i just live over there...thinking maybe i will go visit her? or maybe i'll see her again...i told her maybe i'll see you here again...i wasn't sure if i'd see her again, i think she was happy someone was kind to her for the moment...our whole conversation...it only lasted a few minutes...

...i'm sorry her fingers were gone...and i'm not sure if i believe a dog bit off all her fingers, if so...however it happened that's awful...so sad, must be very hard for her...i didn't do much, but i gave her breakfast for tomorrow morning only...that's not much, doesn't sound like much, but maybe it means much to her...i don't know...
new note 11.03AM my dear lord sweet jesus, please bless me and tell me what plan you have waiting for me...and i only pray that whatever it is in the future it will be for your glory and that i can still take pictures at the same time...and tell a story...so long as i have your strength beside me..., just like yesterday...she wasn't scarred and happy...but ok...alright...she was getting by, she still smiled...5,663,789 views
